SNBA Unveils ‘Redefine the Night’ Priorities and Enters a New Chapter as Singapore Nighttime Business Association

SINGAPORE, 1 September 2026 – The Singapore Nightlife Business Association (SNBA) has introduced ‘Redefine the Night’, a long-term industry initiative aimed at driving a safer, more vibrant, and economically productive nighttime economy. Announced at an industry gathering on 20 August 2026 with Minister of State Alvin Tan as Guest of Honour, the framework addresses evolving consumer preferences, rising costs, and regional competition by reframing the nighttime economy across hospitality, F&B, retail, culture, and mobility.

In its initial phase, SNBA is focusing on three immediate priorities:
1. Precinct Development: Co-leading activations across at least four new precincts over the next two years, building on the initial initiative in Holland Village.

2. Nighttime Economy Alliance: Establishing a cross-industry platform to unite trade bodies in hospitality, retail, culture, and tourism.

3. Precinct-Focused Transport: Exploring targeted late-night transportation and shuttle solutions to improve accessibility.

To reflect this broader scope across the entire after-dark ecosystem, the association is also preparing to transition to the Singapore Nighttime Business Association
